Loa-worship
The Trolls draw power through their Voodoo Magic by performing rituals and invoking Primal Gods or the Forest Spirits: the Loa Gods. These deities are said to be more powerful than the Elementals but not as powerful as gods.
Shadow Hunters call upon the Loa to grant them shadow and healing magic amongst other abilities. Shadow Hunters learn magic that hinders enemies and aid allies, gaining a unique mixture of spells that delve into the darker aspects of the Loa.
Adventurers who have gone into Zul’Gurub, the Gurubashi Empire, have said that each of the five priests correspond to a different Primal God; Shadra the Spider, Shirvallah the Tiger, Bethekk the Panther, Hir’eek the Bat and Ula-tek the Snake.
The Zandalar Tribe worships Zanza above all others.

Also known as Neo-Loa, Lao’shamanism combines the teachings of Loa-worship and shamanism. It applies that the Loa and the Elementals exist peacefully amongst each other. The Elementals provide the strength of the shamans while the different Loas offer their guidance. The Earthmother watches over all.
Those that choose to practice Loa’sha do not have to be of shamanistic origin. There are six Loa total, each offering different aspects.
Dambala, Goddess of Serpents and Treachery. It is said that Dambala, in appearance, is much like that of a Naga. She is depicted as having the lower body of a serpent and the upper body of a troll with long, flowing hair. She is favored amongst rogues.
Legba, God of Speed. When spoke of, Legba is mentioned as being a kind hearted trickster. He usually gets into mischief and enjoys doing so. He is depicted as a tall, lanky, hairy, troll with a scrawny apelike appearance. Aside from rogues, it is not uncommon for druids and hunters to follow in his footsteps.
Lukou, Goddess of Healing and Respite. A beauty, even by Alliance standards. Lukou is depicted as a blind troll with long, braided hair and a kind, smiling face. Shamans, druids and priests follow her guidance.
Mueh’zala, God of Death. Having no true appearance, Mueh’zala shows himself as a deep black fog that has limbs and a head. When one dies, it is said that he is the one to visit and cast their fate. A large number of Undead follow him, along with many warlocks as well.
Ogoun, God of War. Father of the Loa and Elementals. Next to the Earthmother, he is next in the line of worship. Many call his name to help them in a coming battle. He appears as a large red skinned orc with wiry black hair and holds a sword that is said to be forged from metal from the moon and fire from the sun. Though warriors are the most common in his worship, some druids, hunters and shamans have joined in as well.
Shango, Controller of Storms. Not much is said about Shango, except she had an affinity for playing with the Elementals and in time, gained their abilities. She is depicted as a fun loving, kind hearted female orc. Though most commonly used as a metaphor by others, she is highly valued by shamans.
